The Medical Emergency Response Centers (MERC) Balochistan, a project initiated by the Balochistan Government to provide 24/7 emergency healthcare services, is seeking qualified and experienced professionals for various positions on a contract basis. With a mission to strengthen accident and emergency healthcare facilities, MERC is opening its doors as MERC Balochistan Jobs 2024 to dedicated candidates ready to make a difference.
Available Positions
The positions announced as of November 12, 2024, include:
- Medical Officer (BPS-17)
- Lab Technologist (BPS-17)
- Staff Nurse (BPS-16)
- CT Scan Technician
- Medical Technician (BPS-9)
- Operation Theater (O.T.) Assistant (BPS-6)
These vacancies are available at MERC Centers, including Trauma Centers located in Khuzdar and Zhob.
Required Qualifications and Experience
Here’s what you need to apply for these MERC Balochistan Jobs 2024:
- Medical Officer: MBBS or equivalent medical qualification recognized by the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC), with a minimum of one year of experience.
- Lab Technologist: Bachelor’s degree (4 years) in Laboratory Technology from a recognized institution, with 3-4 years of relevant experience.
- Staff Nurse: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (4 years) from a PNC-recognized institution, with at least four years of relevant experience.
- CT Scan Technician: Diploma in Radiography or B.Sc. in Imaging Technology, with a CT-Scan or MRI Technician Training Certificate and four years of relevant experience.
- Medical Technician: Intermediate (Pre-Medical) with a Medical Technician Certificate from a recognized institute, along with four years of experience.
- O.T. Assistant: Intermediate (Pre-Medical) with an O.T. Technician Certificate and a minimum of two years of experience.
